Meet Elizabeth Ferris

Elizabeth is the founder of Ferris Consulting and will lead the work we do with you. With more than 25 years experience in marketing, business development and strategic planning and 18 years in legal marketing, she has advised some of the most successful North American and UK law firms. She has particular experience in advising law firms with niche practices, including those specializing in family law, estate planning, personal injury, business law, criminal defense and employment law.

Elizabeth and her team created the original brand for Collaborative Law, significantly increasing awareness and demand for this dispute resolution process across the globe.

A frequent speaker and author on legal marketing, Elizabeth has led marketing workshops and planning retreats throughout North America, England, Scotland, Ireland, Austria and Australia.

Prior to starting Ferris Consulting on March 29th, 2000, Elizabeth was Vice President of Business Development for a subsidiary of a fortune 100 health care company in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Over a seven-year period she increased revenues from $6 million to $40 million. Elizabeth is certified in Myers Briggs and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin Madison.

Neil has more than 25 years design experience and is the founder of Becker Design, offering a wide range of design and advertising services, including corporate identity, web communications/interactive development, creative direction and writing, and marketing analysis.

His experience includes work on accounts such as Knoll International and HBO Video. He’s currently on the advisory committee at the William F. Eisner Museum of Advertising & Design.

Karen Spillers

Karen Spillers

Karen is the founder of Corp Comm Strategies, a public relations firm that specializes in influencing public opinion. A practical and conceptual thinker with a rare ability to identify the interesting and the significant, she offers highly creative and effective counsel.

Her career includes business media relations and financial writing at The Financial Relations Board, the nation’s largest investor relations agency, and serving as Director of Corporate Communications at Boulevard Bancorp, Inc.

Robert Schultz

Robert Schultz

Creative director Robert Schultz is a veteran advertising and public relations writer with a career that spans agency and client-side work. He specialises in writing for service industries, particularly legal and accounting firms, academic medical centres and financial services organisations.

His exceptionally broad experience means he is equally at home developing a brand strategy or discussing the nuances of technology with product managers.
