The first step to creating a strategic plan is to clearly identify your personal or business purpose . What you do, who benefits and what are the results of your service. The next step is to assess your situation and develop specific goals that are in alignment with your key business purpose, values and vision. Depending on the project this may include the following:

- Behavioral style assessment for management/leadership team
- Internal analysis on strengths and weakness of organization and/or individual
- External assessment of customers/client perspective on organizations strengths and weaknesses
